This treatment is to keep undesirable insects from being accidentally transported with the marriage gowns. So they are chemically treated to kill these insects. The insects won't be in the marriage dress itself, but will have gotten a free ride on the outside of the shipping bag. Usually there's only a couple of things that can make your wedding dress smell comic. The manufacturers all have a neat surroundings when producing their wedding gowns. They must to keep the dresses neat. Obviously everything has to be additional neat to keep your wedding gown in ideal shape & pleasant.
